Reshaping Bronze & Stone: Artists Respond to Public Monuments

In this illustrated lecture, TCC Art History Instructor Nancy Pettigrew will explore the history of monuments in Virginia, the protests against them, and the ways in which artists are responding. A discussion will follow.

This event is part of TCC's Arts & Humanities Pathway series "My Voice. My Thoughts. My Art." A curated collection of music, visual arts, literary, and theatrical programming, each event will explore themes of diversity, adversity, inequality, social justice, and empowerment during this time of social change.
