Save the Eggs! Space-themed Egg Hunt & Egg Engineering Challenges
Get ready for an eggciting time at the NASA Wallops Flight Facility Visitor Center as the third annual Save the Eggs event is held from 1 – 4 p.m., Saturday, March 17.
A space-themed egg hunt and various egg engineering challenges and activities await young explorers and their families at this annual spring event.
At the Save the Eggs event, participants will have the opportunity to collect space-themed eggs and prizes during an egg hunt, create an eggstronaut for an egg drop challenge, and more!
The space-themed egg hunt, scheduled for 1 p.m., will be set up on the grounds of the Visitor Center and will include two separate hunt zones, one for young and one for older children. Hunters are encouraged to bring a bag to hold the eggs they collect.
All activities are free and open to the public. Families are encouraged to arrive early to be ready for the space-themed egg hunt at 1 p.m. Supplies are limited.
The NASA Visitor Center, located on Va. Rt. 175 about six miles from U. S. Route 13 and five miles from Chincoteague, is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free.
